Mañana Manna

As we approach our departure, hopefully tomorrow, we are filled with gratitude for our family and friends far and near.  Our sailing endeavor has been made possible by support of so many people.  We are grateful for everyone who has made this upcoming departure possible.

From taking care of our mail, to building us an autopilot and sending us custom made parts, my brother and his wife have helped us every step of this journey.  Here in Chula Vista, we have received much help from our neighbors on the dock who encourage us daily, provide dinners, and let us borrow their car for last minute provisioning.  Our Canyon Community Church family has blessed us immensely through their hospitality and prayers. Back in Washington, we are grateful for friends and family who love on our kids and support them in so many ways.
Thank you, everyone, for all you have done.  We appreciate you so very much, and we look forward to sharing our sailing adventures with you.  -Julie

Marquesas Bound!

This will be a pretty quick update.  We have made the commitment to head to the South Pacific!  There have been many projects since our last post and many more to come.  I hope to get caught up on the blog posts as time permits.

Winter in San Diego has been great!  I can see how people come and never leave.

A few recently completed projects include Solar and Wind Power, AGM Battery Bank, Spectra Water Maker, and Skookum Autopilot. Some major projects still to do include; ProFurl Classic Rebuild and replace all the thru hull seacocks.  In between a lot of little projects!
